Cedarwood
Essential Oil
Young Living's Cedarwood essential oil is steam distilled from the bark of Cedrus atlantica, a close relative to the biblical Cedars of Lebanon. Historically used by the ancient Egyptians in ceremonial rites, this variety of cedarwood is now grown primarily in Morocco.
Clove was listed in Hildegard's Medicine, a compilation of early German medicines by highly regarded Benedictine Herbalists, Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179). The small, fragrant flower buds are harvested, dried, and steam distilled to produce Clove essential oil.
